“HETMAN” is not just a simple restaurant. It’s a castle of Medieval style with stone walls, immense wooden gates and wrought metal, wooden chairs and tables of the Gothic style.
The first floor design represents the interior of the Khotyn Fortress of the XV-XVI centuries. The portraits of Ukrainian hetmans are hanging on the walls along with many other pictures depicting historical events such as the Khotyn Battle of 1621, the heraldry of some cities and Medieval arms.
The second floor interior represents Bukovyna of the XVII-XVIII centuries. A separate VIP hall depicts the life of Hutsul people that inhabit the area in and around the Carpathian Mountains. Here is an exhibition of arms, utensils, and portraits of the heroes Oleksa Dovbush and Lukian Kobylita.
This is a unique restaurant with an extraordinary atmosphere where traditional meals of natural ingredients, prepared according to old Medieval recopies are served. Here you can also taste many types of traditional brandy.
